The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo
The Q Revo is an excellent choice if you're looking for an affordable mop and robot vacuum. It offers a great mopping experience, but doesn't have the advanced features of its more expensive sibling.
In tests, it was able to tackle dust and dry oats on carpets of medium pile as well as pet hair on hard floors. However, unlike other models, it doesn't utilize LIDAR to map out your home.
Roomba s9+ from iRobot
The iRobot Roomba S9+ robot vacuum is one of the top-rated robots. It is a powerful cleaner and plenty of features such as an automatic dirt bin built into its charging base. It can also learn your cleaning habits and suggest schedules that are automatic for a truly hands-free experience.
The setup process is simple thanks to the iRobot Home app that walks you through the procedure. Once the system is setup it can begin cleaning automatically with just one button press. You can choose an overall clean that focuses on cleaning up larger debris like rice and cereal or two thorough maps of your area to ensure that your entire home is properly arranged.
This robot vacuum is effective on floors that are unfinished and carpets with low pile. It can pick up pet hair and clean large items up. It doesn't lose its suction as quickly as other robot vacuums. It has a difficult time with plush or high-pile carpets, but iRobot claims that future models will be more efficient.
The S9+ features a new design from iRobot, which is focused on improving edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt a flat-fronted D-shaped design, which it hopes will allow it to be able to swaddle walls and furniture. It's an improvement over the hockey puck-shaped robovacs which are common however we found it to be only marginally superior to circular models.
iRobot also claims that the S9+ has an improved filtering system that stops microscopic dust particles and allergens from recirculating throughout your home. We think this is a nice statement but not enough to justify a higher price.
Its intelligent navigation system makes use of sensors to store the layout of your home and vSLAM to map the interior. This allows it to steer clear of obstacles, like stairs and other barriers, and to tidy up your entire home in the most efficient way possible. The iRobot Home app lets you control the robot and schedule cleaning times, as well as establish virtual boundary markers, so it knows to avoid areas that require extra attention.
2. Roborock Q Revo
Roborock Q Revo is a robot that combines vacuuming and mopping. Its vac settings are just as effective as those on more expensive models, and its mopping system is superior, as its spinning pads do a better job of cleaning your floors than a stationary vibrating pad.
The only issue is the lack of a second brush to allow for deeper cleaning. However, that's not a problem when you're looking to purchase one of the top robots on the market. The dust tank on the robo-vac is larger than its competitors, and filling it up takes only two or three cycles, even when you have maximum dirt.
For the mopping device, I was awestruck by its ability to scrub the tough dirt off my floors. Its two lowest mopping settings that are less powerful than the high-powered modes, produce very low noise, which means you can work or even watch television without getting distracted. It will gently bump into furniture or walls, and then move on whenever it comes across one.
The Q Revo is unique in that it runs almost autonomously, with little user involvement. The dock of the robo-vac is multifunctional and can automatically transfer garbage into a bin hidden. It also cleans and dries the clean water tank. The app is good at notifying you when something requires attention, such as the water tank that is running out of clean or a scheduled vacuuming session that was cancelled due to a full dust bin.
You can also design and merge actual rooms to alter how the Q Revo treats your abode. This feature is useful if you have different flooring in different areas of your home or if you need to regularly get rid of clutter like clothes, toys and books. The robot vacuum was also among the best performers in my test cleaning up debris from both carpets as well as hardwood floors with the first attempt. It is able to vacuum up wet spills. I suggest drying them with a towel before sending it to.
3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni
The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd expect from a high-end robot vacuum and mop and more. Similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+, it has an excellent vacuum with a powerful suction that cleans hard and carpet floors, plus an omni-rotating mop that scrubs tough stains. It also comes with an auto-cleaning base station that automatically empty and cleans mop pads, keeping them germ-free and ready for use again. It also comes with a sensor that can detect obstacles better and prevents it from falling on furniture or other objects.
The most significant improvement to the ECOVACS X1 Deebot is its sleeker, modern design. This is thanks to Danish company Jacob Jensen Design, best known for their Bang & Olufsen product line. The robot is still big. It has a height of more than two feet height and depth and weighs in at least four pounds. However the robot as well as its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo and iRobot j7.
This version is also more efficient than the X1 version, since it has faster battery charging and can handle a full cleaning of around 1,500 square feet in one charge. And it has a larger dustbin that is more durable to hold more debris and is easier to empty when needed.
Finally, the X2 Omni has a more user-friendly app and an assistant voice that works offline, allowing you to manage it even when not at home. It also comes with more mopping options and a smart routing feature that gives it the flexibility to clean certain rooms or areas of your home instead simply following a predetermined path.
The X2 Omni is the best robot for mopping. Its mop pads rotating remove tough stains and its motor creates plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming performance is outstanding too and it increases suction when it senses carpet to ensure it's doing the job well. It is equipped with a large, rechargeable battery that lasts up to one week. The mopping feature of the robot is also extremely effective.
4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a premium mop and vacuum robot that comes with a host of convenience features you do not often find on robots at this price range. It is able to build precise floor maps, recognize different flooring types and is among the few to automatically wash and dry its mop pads. While these features are useful but they also make the L10s Ultra more in the category of luxury which could make it somewhat more expensive than what some homeowners require.
Designed to look like a modern floor cleaner, the L10s Ultra is a tall and slim machine with an elegant white finish enhanced by mirror-plated silver elements. The front of the machine is dominated by a huge bumper, which helps protect the vacuum and furniture from damage when moving through the home. Sensors are hidden behind the front pane which helps the L10s Ultra navigate around tight corners and avoid obstacles.
On the top, there's one button that basically serves as the on/off switch. Pressing this will activate the vacuum, and clicking it again will turn off the vacuum and send it back to its base station. The central control panel is a circular menu that lets you select cleaning modes as well as schedules and preferences. The left and right buttons will allow you to access the settings in the app, where you can alter the way the L10s Ultra interacts with your home.
Similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+ and Roborock Q Revo, the L10s Ultra uses a combination of LIDAR and camera-based navigation technologies to map out your house. This creates a detailed floor plan that helps the robot vacuum and mop efficiently, without getting stuck in areas with clutter. The LIDAR also helps the robot vacuum detect and avoid obstacles and obstacles, which is a wonderful feature for households with pets or children.
The L10s Ultra is an efficient vacuum cleaner that removes 98.4 percent of the debris we test on hard floors, and removing all but stubborn juice stains. The mops also work well, removing 98.4 percent of the debris from our carpet, tile and wood tests. It wasn't as effective in removing sand from the hard floor or quaker oatmeal from the carpet.
